My name is Hailey and I am addicted to Pinterest.
But it is a good thing, I promise! I feel so productive since finding Pinterest.
So for Super Bowl Sunday I got a little out of control and make a few Pinterest-inspired recipes.
First, I made a delicious layer dip because what football game is complete without chips and dip? I used no recipe for this one, but I was inspired by this post.
The ingredients…

…the first two layers, and the result!

Then, I made a sweet potato and black bean chili in my slow cooker. I love slow cooker recipes but there are not many for a gluten-free vegetarian. I absolutely loved this and will definitely make it again!

And to finish off the day, I made some decadent chocolate flourless cookies. Consider yourself warned – you need lots of milk on hand if you are going to make these! Here is the step-by-step, photo-style.

A trick for getting your egg whites whipped perfectly!

Another tip – always let your stand mixer do the work for you!

Egg whites are like magic.

Next you mix the remaining ingredients and then add them to the egg whites.

Add the melted chocolate and the chocolate chips and wah-lah! You have complete chocolate decadence!

Roll them in some powdered sugar before baking…(I had to refrigerate the dough in this warm humid climate down here)…

…and you get these beautiful results!

And yes, I made all of this between church and the game. It was so worth it!
What have you made recently that you found on Pinterest? Did you love it?
love,
